I, too, liked the dots but change is good. I wonder whether you wouldn't have a good source of books for 5 years olds - books of interest not reading level. My daughter enjoys stories like The Secret Garden, Mrs. Piggle Wiggle, Pippi Longstocking, etc., that she's still too young to read to herself. I'm hard pressed to find lists via the Internet of good, non-scary chapter books she would enjoy having read to her. Any ideas? Claudia
The dots were awfully Ayelet... This one was my first template. I like how clean it is, but I eventually decided I needed something with a wider text column because my posts were so ridiculously long.
reading, writing, YA and children's lit, cooking, parenting, feminism. some in this blog, some in the other one.

I miss the dots. I liked your dots. But this space is very clean and Zenlike.
Oh, my goodness, Totoro is aniimated, too! (I didn't notice that before.)
I'm ambivalent about the change. But I was getting bored and wanted to clean things up. I may change again, though.
Yes, it's Totoro! I stole it from someone else's blog. :-)

I was initially startled, oh, she changed the blogs, but I think I like it better with no dots :)
