All good things...
...come to those who wait. And after fifteen years in Richmond, my favorite grocery store has finally arrived! I found out during dinner this evening and made it out there before they closed, coming home with a good haul: wine, bagels, veggie "meatballs", cereal, milk, artichoke hearts, and chocolate. There was more, too, but we didn't go overboard--as I often have when visiting the one in Northern VA--because I knew we could go back next week. What luxury!

hurray! how exciting! Funny that this happened just when I'd posted my standard TJ's shopping list over on the LTE blog. I'm looking forward to visiting even more now.
I'm so happy for you! I don't know how I'll return to Athens after the resumption of my love affair with Trader Joe's. I just love to wander around.
Leila and I have discovered their fig yogurt and its delights in fruit smoothies!
I hate to think how much the presence of Trader Joe's had to do with my move to Elon a year and a half ago. I'd been living sans Trader Joe's ever since graduate school. My own recent finds include a white wine called Vinho Verde, the TJ brand vanilla wafers, and the Masala Veggie Burgers (even the host of NPR's The Splendid Table recommends the "burgers" as being in a class unto themselves compared with the other veggie burgers on the market.)
I am green with envy. We have been waiting for years for a TJ's but no not yet.
Oh I wish. There are three or four in the lower part of my county, but none up near me. And there should be! They'd do well! Argh.
