Parenting in the News...again

I sighed when I found your blog, recommended by my 5-year old son's teacher.(thank you, Melissa, for your balance and inspiration) I know much is written about the academy, and the institutional conflicts for academic moms. I am torn more by the deeper personal conflicts of time, energy and focus. Work and parenting draw on such different parts of me: I currently feel like a two- or three-headed hydra.
